The Baltimore Asset Services team is responsible for the timely and accurate processing and payment of corporate action events across the US, Canadian, and Latin American markets. These include Dividends, Mandatory Events, Voluntary Elections, Proxy Votes, and Class Actions.

Overview:
The Baltimore Asset Services team is responsible for the timely and accurate processing and payment of corporate action events across the US, Canadian, and Latin American markets. These include Dividends, Mandatory Events, Voluntary Elections, Proxy Votes, and Class Actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and interpret a full range of simple to complex mandatory corporate actions.
- Manage end-to-end processing of corporate action events, including setup, validation, election, payment, and reconciliation.
- Engage with multiple internal departments and Business Units, including Prime Brokerage, Financial Controllers, and the Trading Desk.
- Handle a high volume of diverse inquiries from business units, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Interface with corporate action data providers, counterparties, industry utilities, and third-party service providers.
- Review daily processes, technology platforms, and workflows to identify and implement improvements.
- Participate in system testing and support ongoing initiatives for increased coverage and service quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year college).
- Proficient in internet and web-based applications.
- Ability to interpret a wide range of reference materials and utilize third-party information provider interfaces (e.g., SWIFT, agents, and exchange portals).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent record-keeping accuracy.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Quick learner, adaptable, and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to write technical documents, business specifications, test plans, and scripts.
- Familiarity with Power BI, PathUI, or Alteryx is a plus (not required).
