Bilingual Life New Business Representative
Pay Rate: $19.51 per hour, paid weekly
Target Start Date: 10/27/2025, pending completion of new hire onboarding
Location of Assignment:
As a Representative, you'll provide prompt, efficient service for assigned product and/or service center internal and external customers. Consults and interprets contract provisions for current and past products and assumed business for policyholders, agents/brokers and other Enterprise operating units.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience: Three years work experience with two years product-related customer service work experience preferred.

Location of Assignment:
- First 8 weeks (4 weeks of training): Onsite at 1000 Yard Street, Columbus, OH ( "Grandview Yard ")
- Post-training: Hybrid ; 3 days per week onsite and 2 WFH
- Further down the line, once more established: 1 day in office, 4 WFH
- Training period (first 8 weeks): 9:00am to 4:30pm
- Post-training: 11:30am to 8:00pm; Fridays 9:30am to 6:00pm. No weekends!
As a Representative, you'll provide prompt, efficient service for assigned product and/or service center internal and external customers. Consults and interprets contract provisions for current and past products and assumed business for policyholders, agents/brokers and other Enterprise operating units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to inquiries from customers, brokers, agents, and government agencies through oral and written communications.
- Assists with and processes financial transactions and contract-related requests in accordance with policy provisions and regulatory guidelines.
- Interprets and explains contract provisions for current and historical products to internal and external stakeholders.
- Reviews and resolves routine processing errors, escalating complex or exceptional cases as needed.
Experience: Three years work experience with two years product-related customer service work experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
- MUST be bilingual in Spanish and English
- General office practices, customer service, and office equipment.
- Information systems and insurance/financial services industry practices (i.e. Life Insurance) preferred.
- Effective written and oral communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and management..
- Ability to identify and evaluate problems and analyze customer inquiries and determine the appropriate action.
