Financial Analyst (Hybrid)
Location: Pennington, NJ 08534
Pay Rate: $24/hour on W2 (paid weekly)
Schedule: Training will be fully onsite, then transition to hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Start Date: May, 3 weeks after acceptance
Contract Length: 4-months, with potential to extend or convert
Overview
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Cost Basis Team within Tax Reporting Operations. This role supports daily financial and operational processes, including cost basis research, updates, and transaction reconciliation to ensure accurate tax lot reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Process routine and standardized financial transactions in accordance with established procedures and workflows
- Support one or more operational functional areas, including analysis, report generation, new account openings, trade and payment processing, and data entry
- Handle branch inquiries and client update requests submitted via New Service Gateway and email related to cost basis research and updates
- Research and resolve transactional breaks that result in inaccurate cost basis, including performing manual updates when required
- Provide quality service and efficient operational support to internal business partners and external clients
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to tax lot records to support IRS reporting for covered securities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of relevant financial or operations experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Understanding of financial records, industry regulations, and IRS rules
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment
