- Job Title: Technical Program Manager II
- Location: Menlo Park, CA – Onsite
- Duration: 6+ Months (Extendable)
- Pay Rate: $70- 75/hr on w2
Overview:
- We are seeking a Technical Program Manager II to drive the successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs requiring cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across multiple projects. This role involves program-level strategic planning, executive stakeholder interaction, and delivery of systems and enhancements with a focus on risk management, execution, and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver programs within scope, quality, time, and budget under conditions involving multiple moderate-probability, moderate-impact risk factors.
- Lead program-level strategic planning, executive management interactions, issue resolution, communications, and team building.
- Manage internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and enhancements that meet specified requirements.
- Oversee project scope definition and management, requirements gathering and documentation, effort estimation, project schedule development and tracking, and budget management.
- Handle project status reporting, risk and issue management, contingency planning, and customer interaction across multiple organizational levels.
Qualifications:
- PMP or PMI certification required.
- &Client; 5 years of experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
- Strong experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated people management, team building, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to assess risk, manage competing priorities, and adapt effectively in dynamic environments.
Top 3 Must-Have Skills:
- Data-driven and detail-oriented, with strong ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to scale across a large number of teams.
- Proven track record in tracking execution of complex plans with large dependencies, proactively mitigating risks, and escalating as needed.
Good to Have Skills:
- Background in Machine Learning (ML).
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
