Quality Control Technician

Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256
Contract: 12+ Months (Potential for Extension or Permanent Hire)
Schedule: First Shift, Mon–Fri
Pay Rate: $20 – $22/hr (W2) | Benefits: Weekly Pay, Vision, Dental, Medical
 
Professional Summary
Detail-oriented Quality Specialist with hands-on experience in raw material, packaging, and finished product testing within regulated manufacturing environments. Skilled in analytical testing, documentation, and equipment calibration, ensuring compliance with established quality standards and GMP requirements. Recognized for supporting process improvements, revising SOPs, and training peers to strengthen quality culture and operational efficiency.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Performed analyses of raw materials, packaging, bulk, and finished products to verify compliance with established specifications and quality standards.
  • Determined physical, chemical, and performance properties, compiling and documenting accurate test results.
  • Calibrated, maintained, and troubleshot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with calibration schedules.
  • Revised and updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to align with current practices and regulatory expectations.
  • Participated in cross-functional project teams to support strategic quality initiatives under moderate supervision.
  • Trained new team members on testing methods, documentation practices, and safety procedures.

  • Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics, or related technical field
