Role Overview
As a Project Manager I, you will support and coordinate strategic and operational initiatives across TM ODT by driving projects from planning through execution. You’ll facilitate meeting logistics, develop agendas, monitor project workflows, track deliverables, and maintain accountability among stakeholders. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help ensure alignment and sustained momentum on high-impact projects, while enabling teams to efficiently execute their objectives.

Role Overview
As a Project Manager I, you will support and coordinate strategic and operational initiatives across TM ODT by driving projects from planning through execution. You’ll facilitate meeting logistics, develop agendas, monitor project workflows, track deliverables, and maintain accountability among stakeholders. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help ensure alignment and sustained momentum on high-impact projects, while enabling teams to efficiently execute their objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for executive leadership and oversee day-to-day operations related to key departmental initiatives.
- Lead coordination of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are monitored and reported.
- Foster effective discussions to drive decision-making, demonstrating leadership and curiosity.
- Bridge gaps and clarify assumptions across varied initiatives, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, record decisions, track action items, and follow up on outstanding deliverables.
- Create, maintain, and track project plans, workflows, milestones, KPIs, and risk logs.
- Support strategic change management, including the adoption of new operating models, through well-structured documentation and communication.
- Develop reusable project management templates and governance tools scalable across the department.
- Provide comprehensive documentation, including quarterly SOPs and handover plans for newly developed tools and processes.
- Train internal teams on project management best practices and onboarding new workflows for ongoing sustainability beyond the contract period.
- Collaborate with the Senior Business Manager and Senior Leadership to maintain alignment on objectives and seek project-specific guidance.
Deliverables & Expected Outcomes
- Well-documented project plans, meeting summaries, milestone/KPI trackers, and risk logs.
- Standardized project management tools and templates fit for repeated use across TM ODT.
- Quarterly SOPs and handover documentation packages.
- Training delivered to internal staff to support sustainable operations.
- Noticeable improvements in consistency and execution of operational processes, along with successful adoption of new models.
- Thorough documentation of procedural changes and process templates.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in life sciences, business, or a related area preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, ideally in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or other scientific/technical sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in coordinating complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities with a track record of balancing multiple priorities.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills for creating agendas, documentation, and concise stakeholder updates.
- Skilled in developing structured project management resources and SOPs.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Google Suite, Monday.com, Tableau, or comparable tools).
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Experience with Change Management principles (PROSCI certification a plus).
