Dispensing Technician
Location: Portsmouth, NH - 03801
Contract: 12+ months duration Extended or Converted to FTE
Shift: Day Shift 7AM – 7PM rotating days, every other weekend
Payrate: $20.61 - $34.36 hr on W2 paid weekly, Vision, Dental and Medical Benefits.
Job Description:
The Dispensing Technician is responsible for accurately dispensing raw materials (liquids, powders, hazardous and non-hazardous substances, acids, and bases) under cGMP conditions to support the manufacture of therapeutic proteins (API). This role requires adherence to safety standards, documentation practices, and aseptic techniques to ensure product quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Dispense raw materials (liquids, powders, acids, bases) under cGMP guidelines to support therapeutic protein manufacturing.

Perform and monitor dispensing processes, weighs, and documentation of all activities in compliance with GDP.

Train under supervision to demonstrate aseptic technique and cross-contamination awareness.

Follow SOPs and execute process recipes while monitoring equipment and performing basic lab tasks (pH, conductivity, sampling).

Work in Class C cleanroom environments while properly gowned and using PPE.

Qualify for and maintain certifications for assigned tasks, cleaning procedures, and equipment use.

Conduct peer/first-level reviews of completed dispensing orders and kits.

Prepare and transport materials to manufacturing suites; manage material movements physically and in software systems.

Support logistics team activities, including equipment cleaning, sanitization, and documentation review.

Participate in safety inspections, submit observations, and contribute to a safe work environment.

Perform administrative tasks, including email communication, meeting participation, and project involvement.

Execute other duties as assigned to support production and logistics operations.
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Science or related discipline OR equivalent relevant experience.

Basic knowledge of cGMP compliance and good documentation practices.

Ability to work in cleanroom environments with required PPE.
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
-
Effective teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
