Location: 1300 Thames Street Harbor Point Phase I Baltimore MD USA 21230
Shift: Hybrid(This role is for NY and MD )
Pay Rate: $70.37/hr
Contract Length: 12 Months
*Contract Extension or Conversion to FTE based on Performance, Attendance and Business Need*

Overview:
Professionals within the Legal and Compliance Division (LCD) provide comprehensive support to business units, including structuring complex cross-border transactions, advising on new product introductions, developing training programs, and resolving investor disputes. The team preserves the firm’s reputation for integrity and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements worldwide. LCD fosters cooperative relationships with government policymakers, regulators, and self-regulatory agencies.
The Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Department acts as the second line of defense for managing non-financial risks such as financial crimes, market manipulation, and operational risk. Within NFR, Data & Analytics designs and optimizes surveillance models and tools using advanced techniques, including supervised and unsupervised machine learning and graph analytics. These tools help detect suspicious or illegal behaviors such as money laundering, insider trading, unfair sales practices, and other financial crimes.

- Drive implementation of the data governance framework, collaborating with business, technology teams, and the central Data Governance Office.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on data governance best practices and standardization across functional areas.
- Manage a book of work for prioritized data initiatives and strategic projects led by the Divisional Data Office.
- Track and ensure remediation of data-related issues across the Division.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve program efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years in a data-related role.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to balance daily deadlines with strategic initiatives.
- Initiative: Self-starter with the ability to drive projects forward independently.
- Attention to Detail: Critical for data governance, issue management, and quality control.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of data governance frameworks and issue management processes.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams
