Job Title: Finance & Operation Support
Location: 1300 Thames Street Harbor Point Phase I Baltimore USA 21230
Shift: Hybrid: 3 days on site per week
Interviews: In person
Pay Rate: $20 per Hour
Contract Length: 12 months *Contract Extension or Conversion to FTE based on Performance, Attendance and Business Need*

Role Description:
This team provides operational support and works closely with global securities lending and secured funding trading desks, covering both equity and fixed income products across U.S. and international markets. The role offers excellent exposure to trading, client service, and cross-functional collaboration, with direct client contact and relationship management responsibilities.
The position also involves close interaction with global Operations Teams, including Security Settlements, Corporate Actions, Finance, Prime Brokerage, Cash Management, and Risk. Team members gain broad experience across multiple areas of financial services.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and a solid understanding of the financial services industry. Success in this role requires the ability to learn quickly, manage multiple detailed tasks simultaneously, and adapt flexibly to changing responsibilities. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Key Duties:
- Ensure securities lending and secured funding trades booked by the trading desk are processed promptly and accurately.
- Resolve trade exception issues through coordination with the trading desk and relevant support teams.
- Perform daily trade reconciliations and investigate/resolve breaks in a timely manner.
- Manage and resolve failing trades by working directly with the trading desk and counterparties.
- Troubleshoot ad-hoc issues and respond effectively to both trading desk and client-driven demands.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word at an intermediate level.
