Job Title: Biotechnologist Associate
Location: 101 International Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801
Duration: 12-month contract (with potential extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $23.25/hr (W2)
Benefits: Weekly pay + Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
Shift: 12-hour shifts — Days: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Position Overview
The Biotechnologist Associate supports the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins (API) in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role involves executing production processes, following detailed SOPs, monitoring equipment, and performing basic laboratory tasks such as pH, conductivity, sampling, and routine sanitization. Associates will train under close supervision and are expected to demonstrate proper aseptic technique and compliance with all cGMP standards.

Position Overview

This role involves executing production processes, following detailed SOPs, monitoring equipment, and performing basic laboratory tasks such as pH, conductivity, sampling, and routine sanitization. Associates will train under close supervision and are expected to demonstrate proper aseptic technique and compliance with all cGMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute process recipes and follow written procedures (SOPs) to support manufacturing operations.
- Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, including Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Steam-In-Place (SIP) systems.
- Record production activities in both electronic and paper documentation according to GMP and GDP guidelines.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pH and conductivity measurements and obtain process samples.
- Complete routine equipment and facility cleaning/sanitization to support 6S and GMP compliance.
- Transfer and move raw materials, chemicals, and components throughout production areas.
- Maintain training compliance and achieve qualification for all assigned tasks.
- Work in a controlled “clean room” environment with appropriate gowning requirements.
- Participate in administrative duties including shift handovers, meetings, email communication, and project work.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
