Role Summary
The Logistics Service Provider Lead will support Reality Labs by developing, managing, and optimizing the global parcel distribution network, with a focus on express carriers. This role partners closely with Logistics Operations, Network Design, Application Management, and Solution Leads to build and manage a world-class logistics ecosystem from prototype through mass production.
The ideal candidate brings strong parcel express industry experience, strategic sourcing expertise, and the ability to drive performance, cost optimization, and innovative logistics solutions across the network.

Role Summary
The Logistics Service Provider Lead will support Reality Labs by developing, managing, and optimizing the global parcel distribution network, with a focus on express carriers. This role partners closely with Logistics Operations, Network Design, Application Management, and Solution Leads to build and manage a world-class logistics ecosystem from prototype through mass production.
The ideal candidate brings strong parcel express industry experience, strategic sourcing expertise, and the ability to drive performance, cost optimization, and innovative logistics solutions across the network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with global express carriers; build and maintain a carrier performance framework.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with carriers and cross-functional teams.
- Identify and evaluate new regional, local, and app-based logistics carriers.
- Define carrier selection criteria, lead sourcing activities, and drive final selection in collaboration with XFN partners.
- Negotiate agreements and SOWs to achieve best-in-class pricing, quality, delivery, flexibility, warranty, and service terms.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build negotiation strategies, identify cost savings opportunities, and enhance service performance.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, obtain alignment on logistics strategy, and contribute to organization-wide initiatives.
- Identify and lead innovation opportunities across logistics categories beyond assigned responsibilities.
- Manage existing carrier contracts and evaluate alternative providers to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with logistics operations and distribution teams to assess expansion opportunities and business impacts.
- 5+ years of experience sourcing or managing express carrier services, or holding a commercial role at a global express integrator.
- Direct experience in parcel express logistics.
- Experience operating within e-commerce logistics networks.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence at all organizational levels.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Background in logistics procurement at companies such as DHL Express, UPS, or FedEx.
- Experience with cost transparency, rate negotiation, and logistics performance frameworks.
- Part of the Reality Labs logistics sourcing organization under a Tier 1 Sourcing Lead.
- Works closely with Logistics Operations, Service Ops, and Finance to drive cost transparency and performance improvement.
- High level of cross-functional collaboration across company.
- 2 rounds : one with CWAM, one with peer
