Digital Designer- UX/UI
Position: Digital Designer- UX/UI
Compensation: $33.09hr | (flexible with experience) Weekly Pay + Optional Benefits
Location: Onsite 100% - 1 Icon, Foothill Ranch, CA 92610
Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract Length: 6 months| conversion pending attendance, performance, and business need

Job Description
Designing products with the end-user in mind. Thinking about how our customers are going to use our products helps us to create a more useful design. There are various methods for establishing what designs people want, including collecting data and ideas from the target user.
You will research brands, culture, products and marketing. You will conduct interviews, surveys and evaluations including fields tests to unlock potential opportunities then ensure they meet the user's needs. Satisfying the end-user is the goal and this requires collaboration and influence. Collab with Design teams, Product Strategy, Engineering and Marketing.
Your toolkit should include:
- User journey mapping
- Usability testing
- Profiling/archetype generation/psychology
- Discovery research
- UX/UI principles
- Data visualization
Primary tasks:
- Work closely with cross functional teams to plan research initiatives
- Define research goals
- Define workstream plan and timeline
- Deploying the right research methods
- Collecting data and performing interviews
- Synthesize data
- Storytelling and influencing with your insights
- 3–5+ years in UX/UI design & research
- Strong in user journey mapping, usability testing, discovery research
- Data visualization & storytelling skills
- Excellent collaboration, curiosity, and problem-solving
- Human factors proficiency
- Design thinking expertise
- Ability to introduce new research tools/methods
- Experience driving efficiency for UX teams
