Location: Remote within the state of Ohio; Prefers close to Columbus
Pay: $39.67/hr
Schedule: Regular business hours, Monday - Friday
Anticipated Start: 12/08/25
Anticipated End: 04/17/26
Job Summary:
Under general direction, the Temporary Litigation Discovery Counsel provides legal services and support within our client's Litigation Discovery Unit. This role involves researching legal precedents, drafting legal documents, analyzing complex issues, and coordinating discovery work across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide legal services and support on assigned matters, including research, drafting, and analysis.

Identify key business issues, assess legal risks, and develop practical recommendations.

Draft motions, objections, and other legal documents in support of litigation strategy.

Collaborate with internal clients, business partners, and outside counsel to ensure effective communication and alignment.

Participate in negotiations, conflict resolution, and cross-functional projects as needed.

Experience in litigation and discovery within a corporate or law firm environment.

Strong grasp of legal practices, procedures, and discovery processes.

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active law license in state of Ohio
