Customer Service Associate

Position: Customer Service Associate 
Location: 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Onsite required for onboarding/training; hybrid schedule available after training.
Pay Rate: $35–$40 per hour
Duration: 12-month contract (with possibility for extension or Permanent job conversion)

Job Summary
Our client, a global diagnostics organization, is seeking a Customer Service Associate – Order Execution Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely processing of domestic and international customer orders. This role manages all aspects of order entry, updates, and transport coordination in SAP while maintaining compliance with regulatory and export requirements. It requires strong problem-solving skills, system expertise, and collaboration across multiple supply chain functions to guarantee on-time, in-full product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage incoming customer orders and changes in SAP, including order entry, updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

  • Verify material availability and take corrective action or escalate issues to meet delivery timelines.

  • Consolidate shipments and prepare shipping/export documentation (invoices, customs documents, letters of credit, export declarations, dangerous goods forms).

  • Track orders proactively and coordinate with logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Maintain accurate customer, product, and country-specific data in SAP; review and update master data as regulations evolve.

  • Collaborate with planning, inventory, shipping, and commercial teams to resolve order issues.

  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders on order status and compliance risks.

  • Identify and support process improvements in order processing and order-to-cash workflows.

  • Participate in local and global projects to optimize supply chain order execution and system performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business-to-business customer support within supply chain, logistics, or order management.

  • Proficiency with SAP SD (or equivalent ERP system) for order processing and updates.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling high-volume transactional orders in a regulated industry (life sciences, medical devices, or in-vitro diagnostics).
     
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across cultures.Strong attention to detail, technical accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
