Pay Rate: $30/hr
Contract Length: 12 Months (Extension or conversion to FTE based on performance, attendance, and business need)

Overview
The role within FSL Operations is responsible for servicing a diverse loan portfolio that includes bilateral and syndicated loans. The portfolio consists of facilities where the firm acts as sole lender of record, administrative agent and lender on syndicated facilities, or lender within a third-party agent’s syndicate. The position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong knowledge of loan operations to ensure proper service and reporting.
1+ YEARS LOAN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (3+ YEARS PREFERRED)

1+ YEARS LOAN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (3+ YEARS PREFERRED)
Core Functions
- Process borrowing/funding and settlement/paydown requests received from clients or agents and record them accurately in the firm’s books and records.
- Prepare and distribute notices (e.g., funding, paydown, rate-set, etc.) to clients and/or syndicate lenders.
- Prepare and issue periodic interest and fee invoices to clients; reconcile with notices provided by third-party agents where applicable; process related entries to books and records.
- Conduct daily reviews of exception/break reports (including cash suspense and past dues) and take corrective action to resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to ongoing and ad hoc inquiries/requests from clients, third-party agents, and internal stakeholders.
- 1–3 years of experience in direct lending or syndication loans.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the financial services field, with familiarity in LoanIQ and cash reconciliation systems preferred.
