2nd Shift Production Associate
Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Associate
Location: 9115 Hague Road Indianapolis, IN 46256
Schedule:
-
Monday – Friday: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Overtime: Saturday & Sunday as needed
Pay Rate: $21.45 per hour
Contract Type: 1 year contract with potential for extension or direct hire

Role Overview
As a Production Technician, you will support manufacturing operations in areas such as production, packaging, and product labeling. You will set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic equipment, follow detailed instructions, and ensure products meet strict quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
-
Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic production and packaging equipment.

Perform manufacturing tasks following process sheets and written/verbal instructions.

Support manufacturing, packaging, and labeling processes.

Maintain material and supply levels to support continuous production.
Quality & Compliance
-
Inspect products and components to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.

Verify product information is precise and legible.
-
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards.

Maintain and continuously improve quality systems and achieve quality objectives.
Documentation & Processes
-
Complete and ensure accuracy of process orders, documentation, records, and metrics.

Prepare work centers for line clearance procedures.
-
Perform routine cleaning in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Troubleshooting & Support
-
Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to production and packaging processes.

Interface with internal teams and provide support to assigned areas or programs.

Perform semi-routine technical support duties.

Train other team members as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
-
At least 1 year of experience in production or manufacturing assembly (preferably in a regulated industry).

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.

Flexibility to work overtime or adjust schedule as needed.

Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards.

Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations.

Basic computer skills with standard software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
