Technical Program Manager
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office); Seattle, WA
Pay: $75-87/hr (W2)
Duration: Initial 12-month contract (expected extensions/conversion)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week (Mon–Fri)

Technical Program Manager - Wearable Smart Glasses
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (Industrial Design, CMF, Product Design Engineering) to deliver next-generation hardware, new technology introductions, and special edition products. Advocate for ID/CMF vision, ensuring designs are integrated into product development.
Key Responsibilities:

Overview:
Technical Program Manager - Wearable Smart Glasses
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (Industrial Design, CMF, Product Design Engineering) to deliver next-generation hardware, new technology introductions, and special edition products. Advocate for ID/CMF vision, ensuring designs are integrated into product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive ID/CMF deliverables, including specs, DOE, and validation plans for multiple projects
- Partner with cross-functional teams to establish best practices and development processes
- Manage delivery of ID/CMF configurations and ensure mass production timelines are met
- Develop schedules based on technical requirements, lead times, and business needs
- Communicate program status, risks, and updates to leadership and teams
- Maintain complete, up-to-date program documentation
- Contribute to resource planning and program optimization
- Degree in Art Design or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years in mechanical engineering or industrial design
- Experience in 1P/2P product development and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong understanding of colors, plastics/textiles, and color scheduling
- Design experience with Industrial Design (ID) and Product Design (PD) teams, managing color palettes and timelines
- Experience in big tech and fast-paced environments
- Background in consumer electronics, hardware, or mechanical products
