3rd Shift Material Handling Technician
Job Title: 3rd Shift Material Handling Technician
Location: 9115 Hague Road Indianapolis, IN 46256
Schedule:
-
Sunday – Thursday: 9:15 PM – 6:00 AM
-
Nights Off: Friday & Saturday
Pay Rate: $25.47 per hour
Contract Type: 1 year contract with potential for extension or direct hire

Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment
-
Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or voice-pick systems.

Pack and prepare shipments, ensuring correct products, lot numbers, shipping temperatures, labeling, addresses, and ship methods.

Perform picking and packing in ambient, refrigerated, or frozen temperature zones as required.

Examine, stock, and distribute materials into appropriate inventory locations.
Warehouse Operations

Move materials throughout the warehouse, distribution areas, and production facilities.

Safely operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and man-up order pickers (training/certification may be provided).

Maintain accurate inventory of products, raw materials, and supplies with strong attention to detail.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 13485 standards; contribute to continuous improvement of quality systems.

Resolve routine questions independently; refer complex issues to higher-level support.
Minimum Qualifications
-
High School diploma or equivalent.
-
At least 1 year of general work experience.
-
English proficiency sufficient for safety communication and documentation.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated/frozen environments.

Demonstrated quality attendance and willingness to learn.

Understanding of standard warehouse safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience operating forklifts, man-up order pickers, or similar equipment.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team setting.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
-
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
