Financial Services Representative/Case Advocate
Department and unit: Life New Business; Final Action Team
Location: Hybrid at 1000 Yard Street, Grandview Heights, OH 43212 (Tuesdays and Wednesdays in office)
Pay Rate: $19/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Training: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM.
Occasionally lates shift 10:30AM to 7:00PM. (Occasional mandated overtime)
Target Start Date: 05/04/2026, pending completion of new hire onboarding
Role Overview:
As a Financial Services Representative/Case Advocate on the Final Action Team, you'll be responsible for inputting newly approved life insurance policies into our administrative system. Processing new life insurance business quickly and efficiently, while providing exceptional customer experience, requires creativity, top-notch communication and attention to detail. If you thrive in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment, where you can work independently and as a team member, we want to know more about you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Verifies all documents and information is complete and in good order to input.
- Organizes and prioritizes workload to ensure new approvals are processed, set up, and assigned in a timely manner, while maintaining communication to manage expectations appropriately.
- Take proactive steps to move the process forward, including conducting regular and timely follow-up on cases as needed.
- Continuously looking for ways to expedite and improve our processes and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal partners.
- Provide assistance and answers questions in a timely manner.
- Processes other similar tasks related to role
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, High School Diploma required.
Experience: 1+ year in customer service or sales
Skills:
- Knowledge of general business practices
- Ability to prioritize work, Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, maintain focus on critical deliveries, and provide extraordinary care
- Ability to make decisions with moderate oversight
- Solid verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external audiences
- Ability to research issues and determine optimal resolution
- Decision making skills for problem identification and correction
- Discretion while handling confidential matters (e.g., medical records).
- Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Upon acceptance of offer, candidates will be required to submit to a 10-year criminal background check, urinalysis drug screen, and soft credit screen.
