2nd Shift Material Handling Technician

Job Role: 2nd Shift Material Handling Technician
Location: 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256
Schedule: 1:30pm - 10pm, Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $20.35/hr (weekly pay)
Initial Assignment Length: 12-months contract to permanent hire

Job Description:
- Pick items either by RF or voice picking.
- Pack, ship, receive and maintain inventory of product/raw material, and fulfill customer orders with emphasis on attention to detail.
- Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory. Accurately pull and/or pack products for customer orders ensuring lot numbers, shipping temperature, address and ship methods are correct. May pick and pack in different temperature environments (ex: refrigerated, frozen, ambient)
- Inspect and compare with packing lists, bills of lading, purchase orders and/or related documentation.
- Identify issues involving logistics, customer orders, shipping and/or receiving areas.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- 1 - 2 years of work experience.
- Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word and Excel).
