Job Title: Workplace Specialist (Temporary, Contingent)
Location: 5808 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028
Compensation: $45.00-$55.00/hr (W-2 and benefits eligible)
Duration: Temporary Contract - Immediate through December 2026

A leading entertainment company is seeking a Workplace Specialist to support the Los Angeles Workplace team on a temporary assignment covering a parental leave. This role will start immediately and is expected to run through December 2026, with the possibility of extending longer depending on business needs.
The Workplace team focuses on the everyday moments that shape how employees experience their spaces. When the fundamentals work seamlessly—spaces are ready, services run smoothly, and environments support the work happening inside them—people can focus on what matters most.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with Workplace leaders and cross-functional teams to help ensure the company’s offices consistently deliver that experience. We’re looking for someone who can ramp quickly, manage projects with confidence, communicate clearly during change, and approach challenges with curiosity and a “yes, and” mindset. This position will report directly to the Manager – Workplace, Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage workplace projects from planning through execution, partnering closely with the Workplace Manager and broader team
• Serve as the liaison between company and property management to maintain operational alignment
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Moves/Adds/Changes, Building Operations, Venue Management, Food & Beverage, Security, Program Delivery, Portfolio Management, Logistics, and Health & Safety on projects to support the business
• Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure services are delivered at a high standard
• Partner with building ownership and property management to ensure compliance with building policies while coordinating on landlord-led projects, maintenance, and operational initiatives impacting the workplace
• Identify opportunities to improve workplace operations, programs, and processes through direct observation, employee feedback and data
• Support large-scale workplace initiatives including office moves, construction projects, and operational changes
• Communicate clearly and proactively with employees and stakeholders during workplace changes to ensure a smooth experience
• Suggest improvements to workplace documentation and playbooks to support operational continuity
• Help ensure shared spaces—from meeting rooms to pantries—operate smoothly and meet the company’s workplace standards
• Use sound judgment to resolve day-to-day operational issues while aligning with Workplace leadership on larger decisions
• Serve as an escalation point for Workplace Coordinators, providing guidance and support on day-to-day operational issues and helping unblock challenges as they arise
About You:
• You have 3–5 years of experience as a Workplace Manager, Office Manager, or a similar role
• You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are comfortable shifting priorities throughout the day
• You’re detail-oriented, dependable, and take pride in supporting smooth, high-quality operations
• You have strong communication skills, a service-first mindset, and a professional demeanor
• You handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality at all times
• You’re proactive and willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team
• Prior experience supporting office moves, construction projects, or workplace renovations is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
Additional Details:
• This is an on-site position based in Los Angeles, CA. Candidates must be available to work in person at the company’s Hollywood campus during regular business hours (9AM - 5PM)
• This role may require early morning, evening, or weekend hours, depending on business needs
• The position may require regular physical activity, including performing walkthroughs, standing for extended periods, moving items, and lifting up to [25–50 lbs] as needed to support daily operations
• This is a temporary, contingent role and will not convert to full-time employment
