We are seeking an independent, self-starting Research Program Manager (Data & Operations) with deep experience in program operations, stakeholder management, and data analytics.

In this role, you will bring operational rigor to complex, cross-functional work by building the mechanisms that keep programs running (cadence, reporting, decision-making forums), defining and tracking meaningful metrics, and translating ambiguous problems into clear plans and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in fast-moving environments, proactively identifying gaps, and using data to improve execution.

Responsibilities
  • Run the program operating cadence (intake, planning support, execution tracking, stakeholder updates)
  • Improve documentation and operational processes (templates, trackers, SOPs)
  • Collaborate across teams to drive alignment, manage dependencies, and unblock execution
  • Analyze program and operations data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
  • Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting (light data visualization)
  • Define and operationalize KPIs/metrics; improve metric clarity and consistency
  • Support ad-hoc data requests; synthesize findings into clear insights and recommendations

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of program/project management or operations experience in cross-functional environments
  • 3+ years in analytics/metrics-focused work (program analytics, biz ops, data analyst, or similar)
  • Experience building dashboards and recurring reporting for stakeholders/leadership
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable with ambiguity
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting research, product insights, or research operations
  • SQL and/or experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Mode)
  • Strong track record of applying AI-enabled tools to improve program operations and analytics (reporting, synthesis, documentation/workflow efficiency) with sound judgment on privacy and data quality
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical/quantitative field or equivalent experience
