Description: Summary:
The main function of the Compliance Specialist is to ensure arrange, conduct and monitor compliance testing, audits, and investigations.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and test controls and processes. Monitor and advise on remediation activities.
Report on control/process documentation, efficacy, performance, and metrics.
Conduct analysis to identify trends/anomalies, and develop associated programs.
Develop playbooks and KPIs to ensure assurance process excellence and effective and efficient utilization of vendor resources.
Partner with stakeholders on process automation, optimization, tooling and automation in support of core assurance processes.
Skills:
One or more relevant professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CMA, CA/CPA, etc.).
Experience with compliance assurance in large, tech-driven organizations, performing risk assessments, and identifying associated controls across all areas of the business.
In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance testing methodologies, and risk management principles, with experience engaging with and building strategic relationships with regulators.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, including ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
Education/Experience:
CISSP or CISA certification preferred
