Team Overview:
The PBO Balance and Control team is an independent unit within Private Banking Operations responsible for reconciliation, quality control, regulatory monitoring, and reporting. The team partners with processing teams, including Lending and Banking, to ensure accuracy and completeness of books, records, and controls across client-impacting products, while mitigating regulatory, financial, and reputational risks.

Team Overview:

The team partners with processing teams, including Lending and Banking, to ensure accuracy and completeness of books, records, and controls across client-impacting products, while mitigating regulatory, financial, and reputational risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor, analyze, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and dashboards
- Coordinate and escalate exceptions requiring remediation
- Collaborate with product lines to ensure operational and procedural compliance
- Oversee control functions performed by offshore teams for accuracy and completeness
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory reporting (e.g., FOCUS)
- Identify potential risks and work with relevant teams to mitigate or eliminate risk
- Reengineer manual workflow processes, including Macro development, for process efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Business or Economics preferred
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, research, and math skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, with ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot Macros
- Familiarity with SharePoint
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Professional oral and written communication
- Proven problem-solving abilities and initiative
- Process automation, VBA, and SQL skills preferred
