Pay Rate: $53 – $56/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home)
Start Date: September, pending onboarding completion
Contract: 8-month initial contract
Contract Extension or Conversion to FTE: Possible, based on performance, attendance, and business needs

Overview
A leading financial services organization is seeking an experienced Operations Project Manager to join its Wealth Management Operations (WMO) team. This group plays a key role in risk governance oversight, regulatory response, internal control initiatives, and third-party risk management.

This high-visibility position involves direct collaboration with operations managers, internal control teams, auditors, regulators, and third-party partners. The ideal candidate will drive critical business control initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate WMO’s third-party risk governance processes
  • Manage responses to regulatory exams, audits, and internal inquiries
  • Partner with business control teams and process owners to assess and mitigate risks
  • Maintain and update third-party inventory records; support procurement processes
  • Oversee remediation activities in alignment with the Issue Management Standard
  • Ensure compliance with the Single Process Inventory (SPI) standard
  • Prepare risk documentation, dashboards, and executive-level presentations
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide control and compliance efforts using strong analytical and process improvement skills

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in risk mitigation, audit coordination, or business control roles
  • Strong organizational and accountability skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting policy and procedural documentation
  • Familiarity with SPI standards and issue management lifecycle

Desired Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Knowledge of operational processes in financial services
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify and explain data trends
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency with SharePoint and Visio
