The QC Analyst I will support the Analytical Development and Quality Control (QC) department by providing hands-on assistance in GMP testing laboratories and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include:

Job Description
The QC Analyst I will support the Analytical Development and Quality Control (QC) department by providing hands-on assistance in GMP testing laboratories and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Providing general support for GMP testing laboratories.
- Supporting and collaborating with other departments.
- Assisting with document processing and archiving.
- Maintaining controlled temperature units and small lab equipment.
- Ordering, stocking, and maintaining supply levels of chemicals, reagents, and laboratory supplies.
- Performing routine maintenance of GMP laboratories to ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and safety regulations.
- Preparing reagents as required.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Initiative, dependability, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with basic aseptic techniques and sample handling.
- Familiarity with basic analytical laboratory equipment (balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers, laminar flow hoods, and glassware).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Strong computer skills; experience with Google Applications is highly recommended.
- Familiarity with electronic management databases (e.g., Electronic Lab Notebook, Veeva) is a plus.
- Prior GMP experience, with emphasis on Quality Control, preferred.
Education
- Associate’s Degree (or higher) in Life Sciences preferred.
