Job Description:
- We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Product Owner to lead the evolution of our enterprise email and text messaging capabilities.
- This role will focus on enhancing how we communicate with customers through digital channels, ensuring timely, relevant, and personalized messaging that supports business goals and improves customer experience.
- The Messaging Product Owner will work closely with the Product Manager to align priorities, manage the messaging backlog, and partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, compliance, and customer experience. This role requires a strong understanding of digital communication platforms, customer engagement strategies, and agile product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and prioritize the product backlog for email and text messaging capabilities. Collaborate with stakeholders to define messaging use cases, customer journeys, and business requirements. Partner with engineering and design teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and user-friendly messaging solutions. Ensure alignment with enterprise communication strategies and regulatory requirements. Leverage data and customer insights to inform roadmap decisions and optimize performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in digital communications or customer engagement. Familiarity with messaging platforms (e.g., Twilio, Syniverse, etc.). Understanding of compliance and privacy considerations (e.g., TCPA, CAN-SPAM). Strong analytical skills and ability to tell a story with data. Experience working in agile environments and managing cross-functional collaboration.
