Financial Services Representative - Money Out
Department: Annuities
Location: Hybrid at 1000 Yard Street, H Building - Grandview Heights, OH (2 days per week onsite, 3 days per week WFH)
Schedule : 40 hours/week, 8-hour shift Mon-Friday, 8 hour shift between 8a-11p EST
Pay Rate: $19/Hour | Paid Weekly
Target Start Date: 10/27/2025, pending completion of new hire onboarding
Position Summary:
Provides prompt, efficient service for assigned product internal and external customers. Consults and interprets contract provisions for current and past products and assumed business for policyholders, agents/brokers and other enterprise operating units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to inquiries from customers, brokers, agents, and government agencies through oral and written communication.
- Assists customers with financial transactions and processes monetary transactions according to policy provisions within assigned limits.
- Consults on contract provisions and interprets policies for customers, agents, brokers, and other departments.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of contract/product provisions, processing systems, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Resolves routine errors, identifies issues requiring advanced knowledge, and refers complex situations to senior team members as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Recent degree in finance, business, insurance, economics, or communications preferred
- Experience: Three years work experience with two years product-related customer service work experience preferred.

Skills:
- Knowledge of general office practices, customer service, office equipment, and familiarity with insurance/financial services industry practices (e.g., annuities, mutual funds).
- Strong problem-solving skills, basic mathematics, and proficiency in office filing systems and record-keeping procedures.
- Effective written and oral communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management, along with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Due to the fiduciary accountabilities within this job, a valid credit check and/or background check will be required as part of the selection process.
