- Prepare comprehensive risk evaluations for banks and insurance companies
- Partner with internal teams to ensure timely completion of backlog underwriting requests
- Document and present underwriting decisions with clear rationale
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of financial institution underwriting experience (no consumer/general loan underwriting)
- Strong knowledge of CAMELS methodology and counterparty risk evaluation
- Experience underwriting for banks and insurance companies
- Familiarity with derivatives products (IRD, FX, RPA-Outs, RPA-Ins)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook (Salesforce experience a plus)
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field

- MBA or CFA designation
- Experience at a regional or large financial institution (e.g., JPMC, Citi, Wells Fargo, regional banks)
