Position Details
- Role: Financial Analyst II
- Shift: Hybrid – in office 3 days a week
- Interview: In Person
- Location: 1300 Thames Street, Harbor Point Phase I, Baltimore, MD 21230
- Pay Rate: $27.00/hr (W2)
- Contract Length: 12 Months (Contract extension or conversion to FTE based on performance, attendance, and business need)
Description:
External Reporting Controller
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft quarterly MD&A and footnote disclosures for U.S. Bank subsidiaries, including reviewing comparable info (MS 10-Q/K and peer filings).
- Compile statement of cash flows for U.S. Bank subsidiaries by working with data providers.
- Ensure accuracy of GAAP reporting by researching and documenting variance drivers.
- Review framework for due diligence, governance, and attestation; establish new controls where needed.
- Provide support with general ledger processes and month-end close.
- Assist the team with improvement projects.
- Support the team in meeting senior management directives.
- Contribute to automation and technology improvements in SAP and Alteryx.
- Accounting / Finance background
- External reporting and/or public accounting experience
- Self-starter, able to perform effectively with minimal supervision
- Associate’s degree required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
