Location: 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256
Duration: 12+ Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Conversion to Permanent)
Pay Rate: $20.35/hour ($18.50 base + 14% shift differential)
Benefits: Weekly Pay, Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage
Shift: 3rd shift (Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM)

We are seeking a Material Handling Technician to join our team, working on 3rd shift (Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM). This role plays a critical part in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently.

We are seeking a Material Handling Technician to join our team, working on 3rd shift (Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM). This role plays a critical part in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Unpack and inspect goods against purchase orders or invoices, record receipt of items, and reject unsatisfactory materials when necessary.
- Lift, move, and stock materials (up to 50 lbs.) and operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment when required.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of materials shipped, including posting weights and shipping charges.
- Distribute materials to inventory locations and manufacturing lines.
- Prepare kitting packages for production assembly when needed.
- Work within standard operating procedures (SOPs) with moderate supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in material handling or a similar role.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate required machinery safely.
- English proficiency (written and verbal) to follow safety requirements and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Thorough knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment.
