Description: Important to Note:
-5 days onsite (Los Gatos)
-Wants to meet in person for final interviews, etc.
-Background Checks Required (driving records, clean record, criminal, drug screen)
-10-20% sitting desk
-90% roaming around/physical devices and movement in day to day
-50-70% of day is TVs
Training/Onboarding:
-90 day doc training
What are they working with?
-Set top boxes, TVs, mobile phones
-Consumer electronic devices and qualifying what they are
-Slack/Jira for projects
Folks that have been successful:
-Google YearUp Program (some help desk experience and some acumen to low level IT work)
Top Skills:
-Selflessness, continuous ad hoc asks (sit in the middle of the most of the product ENG team)
-Will just ask for things in person, customer facing, selfless role, open to change great customer service (dealing with ALL levels)
-Asset management logistics
-Technical work (unboxing, rack and stack)
Team supports device labs, any device that Eng is using for testing, 20k different assets (global offices)
-Driving to and from offices, 50lbs carrying, rack and stack/unboxing
(sometimes driving FTE)
