Pay Rate: $30.04/hr (W2) + Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)
Schedule: Onsite, 5 days/week | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract: 12 Months

We are seeking a Sales & Use Tax Analyst to support compliance with state and local tax requirements while minimizing sales and use tax exposure. This role is 100% onsite and supports tax activities within the Equipment Finance industry.

Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Provide sales tax treatment guidance
- Ensure proper documentation per Tax Department standards
- Support sales and use tax audits
- Review sales tax exemption certificates for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with improving sales and use tax processes through technology
Required Qualifications
- Sales tax treatment and research experience
- Strong knowledge of sales tax codes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (4–6 years experience)
- Monthly multi-state sales tax compliance experience
- Sales tax return preparation and filing experience
- Experience with Vertex Indirect Tax Returns (preferred)
- General ledger reconciliation experience
- Alteryx experience (preferred)
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Equipment Finance industry experience
- Experience with databases/tools such as Access, Hyperion, Tableau, MicroStrategy
