Business Process Analyst
Pay: $19.00/hr
Location: Hybrid,
Monday/Tuesday in office, Wednesday/Thursday/Friday are WFH
Hours: 8-4:30
Start: 9/22/2025
**Contract opportunity until the end of March 2026
Summary:
Responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and managing moderately complex business and system processes to improve efficiency, standardization, and performance. Works under minimal supervision to support process improvement initiatives and facilitate process execution across teams and departments.
Key Responsibilities:
They are in the process of migrating from one knowledge management platform to another and these new roles will help with that transition. The new system will be more cutting edge, AI functionality and better formatting. This will be the main focus while on assignment so the rest of the team can focus on other projects that they’re behind on. 6-7 total team members as of right now.
- Analyze and evaluate existing business and system processes to identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, or automation.
- Design, document, configure, and implement new or enhanced processes while integrating with existing workflows.
- Execute and support day-to-day process operations, including the use of process-related tools and facilitation of key process events.
- Lead or contribute to process redesign initiatives using benchmarks, modeling, pilots, and prototypes.
- Evaluate process performance, resource utilization, and service levels; recommend enhancements to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases and project plans aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in implementation, administration, and post-implementation reviews of new or revised processes.
- Maintain relationships with internal teams and external vendors or consultants to support project and operational goals.
- Provide guidance or training to less experienced staff as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in business process design or operation
Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of business process design principles.
- Familiarity with trends in the insurance and financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills for process evaluation and improvement
- Proficiency in process design tools and methods.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting across all organizational levels.
