Product Specialist, Product & Search
Job Title: Product Specialist, Product & Search
Location: Full Remote (Eastern Time Schedule)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8AM to 5PM EST
Compensation: $40.43/hr. + Paid weekly
Tentative Start Date: June 8, 2026
The Product Specialist reports directly to the Senior Product Manager and is responsible for supporting Product Owners with day-to-day operations, SDLC execution, and digital initiatives across eCommerce and Digital Marketing solutions. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to help drive product roadmap execution, backlog management, release coordination, and customer-focused enhancements.
Essential Duties
•Support Product Owners with execution of product roadmap initiatives and ongoing digital projects.
• Document detailed meeting notes, action items, decisions, and recaps from standups, working sessions, and core hour calls.
• Create and manage JIRA tasks for Designers, Copywriters, and Business Analysts based on team discussions and priorities.
• Assist with Discovery efforts, Epic creation, and requirements gathering activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal business teams, vendors, and IT partners to support strategic initiatives.
• Help prioritize and manage product backlog items based on business value, customer needs, and ROI.
• Support product release planning and communicate timelines and feature delivery expectations.
• Assist Product Owners with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue tracking, and validation efforts.
• Communicate feature releases, updates, and enhancements to stakeholders and business SMEs.
• Advocate for the customer experience while balancing operational and business objectives.
Qualifications:
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience supporting digital products, eCommerce platforms, or digital marketing initiatives preferred
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes is a plus
• Experience using JIRA or similar project management tools preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and time management abilities
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to capture key decisions and action items accurately
• Analytical problem-solving and creative thinking skills
• Product Owner, Product Specialist, or Project Management experience is a plus
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
