Financial Analyst Junior
Position Details – Financial Analyst Junior
Role: Financial Analyst JuniorLocation: 680 West 10000 South, South Jordan, UT 84095 (On-Site to start; Hybrid after training)
Pay Rate: $23.37/hr
Contract Length: 12 Months (Extension or conversion to FTE based on performance, attendance, and business need)
Interview: In Person / Video
Shift: Standard Business Hours
About the Team
The US Tax Operations team manages all reporting obligations for the Firm’s Wealth Management and Institutional clients, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations. The team is primarily located in Utah, with additional coverage in New York and India.
The Gain & Loss department maintains cost basis records and provides Gain/Loss reporting for assets held in MS Wealth Management customer accounts. The Tax teams collaborate closely with cross-organizational operations teams, resolve queries, reconcile discrepancies across processing systems, ensure regulatory reporting accuracy (e.g., cost basis and withholding), and support requirements/testing of strategic platform initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Business field and/or experience in the Financial Industry

Understanding of general accounting principles as they apply to the industry

Knowledge of process controls, database, spreadsheet applications, and data modeling (Microsoft Excel, Access, and other Office applications)

Superior oral and written communication skills
