Role Overview
We are seeking a Production Machine Operator to join a fast-paced, fully onsite print and mail production environment supporting customer statement processing. In this role, you will operate printing and insertion equipment to produce high-volume customer communications while maintaining strict quality, safety, and accuracy standards.
This is an entry-level, hands-on production role ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, following structured processes, and contributing to a team-focused operation.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Location: 800 Samoset Dr., Newark, DE 19713
Pay Rate: $17.27/hour on W2 (paid weekly)
Schedule:
- 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Mon–Fri)
- Minimum 24 hours/week, up to 40 hours based on production needs
Contract: Initial 3-month contract
Contract Extension or Conversion to FTE: Based on performance, attendance, and business needs

Key Responsibilities
- Operate printing and insertion equipment at a basic proficiency level while meeting production and quality standards
- Set up machines, load materials, and verify components prior to production runs
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of printed and inserted materials
- Monitor equipment during operation and document production activity in machine logs
- Cross-train on multiple pieces of equipment as business needs require
- Follow all safety guidelines, department policies, and 5S / Lean manufacturing principles
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and support partners
- Maintain awareness of customer privacy and data protection requirements
- Support a clean, organized, and efficient production environment
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial equipment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Basic computer skills, including numeric keypad use and simple data entry
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
- Willingness to learn, be cross-trained, and work as part of a team
- Ability to make sound decisions, identify issues, and support continuous improvement
