Job Title: Workday HR Systems Specialist
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Compensation: $48.74/hr + paid weekly
The Workday HR Systems Specialist supports the design, configuration, and implementation of HR service delivery strategies within Workday. This role ensures smooth HR operations by providing full life-cycle support, analyzing HR data relationships, and delivering practical solutions to meet organizational goals.
Essential Duties:
• Gather requirements, configure, test, and implement Workday modules across HR processes.
• Develop and maintain HR service delivery strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Configure global time off plans and security roles as needed.
• Monitor HR information needs and design or modify functional processes to meet changing requirements.
• Research, analyze, and maintain functional processes to support HR administration.
• Understand and analyze HR data relationships across business processes.
• Identify root causes, evaluate enterprise impacts, and implement solutions for process breakdowns.
• Apply knowledge of Workday concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to complex problems.
• Develop technical solutions for challenging HR and Workday issues.
• Complete work independently, receiving general guidance, with review focused on meeting objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• 4–8 years of experience supporting Workday modules, including configuration, testing, and requirements gathering.
• Experience with global time off plans and security roles preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex HR data relationships.
• Proficient in Workday functionality and technical capabilities.
• Positive, proactive mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience with full life-cycle HR system implementations preferred.
