Property Tax Specialist - On-Site
Location: 600 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308
Pay Rate: $27.96/hour on W2 (paid weekly)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Tentative Start Date: November, pending onboarding completion
Contract: Initial 3-month contract.
Potential for extension or conversion to a Full-Time Employee (FTE) based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

Overview:
We are seeking a Property Tax Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of tax records, related schedules, and reports. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position works under general supervision and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform a variety of routine and complicated tasks.
- Assist in maintaining and updating business personal property tax records and schedules.
- Prepare and generate related reports as needed.
- Perform a variety of tasks related to property tax functions.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to accomplish daily goals.
- Collaborate with team members and report to a supervisor or manager.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with business personal property taxes.
- Detail-oriented and a quick learner.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- 2-4 years of experience in the property tax field or a related area.
- Knowledge or experience with leasing business property taxes.
- Previous accounting experience.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the property tax field.
- Proficiency in Access and Alteryx.
- Experience interpreting language in legal or financial documents.
