Job description:
This is a Level 3 (L3) support role, responsible for handling critical, complex issues in production environments. The engineer acts as an escalation point for L1/L2 teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle advanced Linux troubleshooting and performance issues
- Work on incident, problem, and change management
- Debug kernel, system, and application-level issues
- Support high-availability and production systems
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors
- Automate repetitive operational tasks
Required Skills & Expertise
1. Linux Distributions
- Strong experience in:

- SUSE Linux Enterprise
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Ubuntu
2. Core Linux Skills
- System administration and troubleshooting
- Boot process, kernel tuning
- Networking, storage (LVM, file systems)
- Performance tuning and monitoring
3. Scripting & Automation
- Shell scripting (Bash)
- Automation tools (e.g., Ansible preferred)
4. Virtualization & Hypervisors
- KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine)
- Understanding of virtual machine management and performance
5. Cloud & OpenStack
- Experience with:

- Canonical OpenStack (Ubuntu-based)
- Red Hat OpenStack Platform
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts
6. Additional/Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SGELX / enterprise tools (clarify internally if needed)
- Exposure to VME environments (Virtual Machine Ecosystems or similar)
- Experience working with enterprise vendors like:
