Job Title: Global Community Manager
Location: Remote (East Coast Preferred)
Compensation: $57.00-$67.00/hr
Details: Contract through the end of the year with opportunity to extend/convert (W-2 and Benefits Eligible)
Summary:
Working with this social media powerhouse, the main function of a global community manager is to manage the relationships necessary to the growth and success of the business across the globe. The typical global community manager will help to develop and implement community engagement strategy.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee content creation and manage content calendar
- Plan and execute content for one or more programs while collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure standards are met
- Surface and prioritize community feedback with product team and provide feedback for group admins
- Find businesses willing to sponsor events as part of their own community outreach
- Write news releases to promote growth and engagement with the client community
- Focus on raising public awareness of the organization and its work
- Aide in marketing efforts to bolster the business
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in marketing and events coordination
- Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- Basic understanding in growth and community engagement
- Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods
Education/Experience:
- 4+ years of experience handling community management and social strategy for digital-first brands driving culture
- Deep expertise and understanding of social platforms, community behaviors, and customer mindsets. Can share these insights in a concise and digestible manner.
- Past experience navigating sensitive, peak brand moments like crisis, issues, and news through the lens of social marketing
- Is familiar with SPRINKLR, ASANA and BRANDWATCH tooling
- Content creation experience - IG Reels, TikTok, Threads
- Managing Community groups in platforms like Facebook Groups, Discord, Reddit, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
