Position Overview:
Join our global Production Engineering – Change Services team, a division within our Engineering Chapter dedicated to efficient, reliable, and lean Change Control Management (ECRs). Our focus lies in supporting established products and facilitating the transition of new products from pilot to commercial production. Our engineers bring deep technical expertise to manage material, system, process, and product changes seamlessly.

Position Overview:
Join our global Production Engineering – Change Services team, a division within our Engineering Chapter dedicated to efficient, reliable, and lean Change Control Management (ECRs). Our focus lies in supporting established products and facilitating the transition of new products from pilot to commercial production. Our engineers bring deep technical expertise to manage material, system, process, and product changes seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and technically assess engineering changes (ECRs), working closely with Product and Team Leaders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirement and verification documents, work plans, material master data, and bills of materials.
- Provide training on necessary procedures and documentations.
- Ensure smooth implementation (phase-in and phase-out) of production changes.
- Analyze, monitor, and report on engineering changes, and prepare information for product meetings.
- Actively manage timelines and communicate proactively to guarantee on-time completion of changes.
- Ensure all documentation and master data are created, approved, and trained per process and quality guidelines.
- Support new product introductions: Assist development with prototypes and sample builds, coordinate required materials, and provide manufacturability feedback.
- Ensure compliance with all quality objectives, deadlines, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in active stakeholder management:
- Internal: Production, Product & Project Leaders, Portfolio Leads, Quality Assurance
- External: R&D, GCS
Additional Duties:
- Address process deviations, ensuring full internal collaboration across interfaces.
- Continuously refine workflows for a LEAN ECR service and drive improvement initiative in consultation with leadership.
- Lead small projects as assigned by the Product or Sub-Chapter Lead.
- Participate in Communities of Practice (CoPs), squads, and cross-functional project teams.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and engineering creativity.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and systems.
- Strong mechanical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with hands-on experience in electro-mechanical and small-scale fluidic/pneumatic systems.
- Root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently; proven track record in owning and completing tasks.
- Experience working within cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective design skills, focusing on simple, low-impact design solutions.
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Independent, goal-oriented, and structured approach to work.
- Proactive attitude with a strong service mindset, flexibility, and openness to innovation.
- Ability to collaborate in a matrixed, global organization.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and at least 4 years of related experience, or
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
