Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an execution-oriented Product Manager 2 for a high-impact, 9-month contract within our Core Finance Product Management team. This role is central to a significant digital transformation, specifically supporting the Procurement domain.
Role Overview

Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite 4 days a week; core hours 9 AM – 4 PM)

Duration: Approx. 9 months with a possibility for contract extension or conversion to full time

Pay Range: $70.42 / hour on W2

Department: PRD MGMT FIN AND HR (CFO Organization)
The Opportunity
As a PM2, you will partner closely with a Senior Product Manager to bridge the gap between strategy and execution. While the Senior PM defines the vision, you will "go deep"—conducting rigorous discovery, mapping complex system impacts, and building the business cases that drive CFO-level decisions. This role requires a bias for action and the ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities

Business Case Development: Build structured technology recommendations, including stakeholder discovery and process flow mapping, suitable for executive review.

Discovery & Solutioning: Identify system and process impacts for enterprise procurement initiatives; facilitate sessions with cross-functional partners.

AI & Automation Evaluation: Assess AI-enabled solutions to identify where intelligent workflows can bridge existing process gaps.

Strategic Documentation: Create high-quality artifacts (process flows, requirements, status reports) that effectively communicate findings to Finance PdM leadership.
Qualifications
Required Experience
-
3+ years in Product Management or equivalent roles.

Process Mapping: Proven ability to translate operational complexity into structured requirements and visual process flows.

Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P), finance, or supply chain workflows.

Communication: Exceptional written skills; ability to create standalone artifacts and executive-ready presentations.

Tech Savvy: Familiarity with AI/automation tools and their application to business process problems.
Preferred Skills

Experience with Coupa or similar P2P platforms.

Background in Retail or Enterprise Finance technology.

Direct experience in Source-to-Pay (S2P) workflows.

Experience supporting formal technology evaluations or business case development.
Logistics & Schedule

Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours/day).

Overtime: None, unless pre-approved.

Work Style: This is an onsite position in Seattle (1600 7th Avenue). Candidates must be available during core business hours.
