Core Technician
Job Title: Core Technician
Location: 14905 Kirby Drive Houston, Texas
Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion pending performance and business need
Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (12-hour rotating shifts: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off; every other weekend required)
Pay Rate: $16.09 - $26.80
Overview:
The Core Technician is responsible for supporting the production of sterile biological pharmaceutical products in a cGMP-compliant cleanroom environment. This role ensures adherence to safety and quality procedures, performs routine cleanroom tasks, and supports lab operations critical to clinical production.
Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations across all team activities

Maintain quality systems and cGMP standards by strictly adhering to protocols, instructions, and documentation requirements

Recognize and report deviations from standard operating procedures

Perform procedures per written guidelines and ensure team members do the same

Actively contribute to cleanroom operations, adhering to full gowning protocols including scrubs, hood, gown, gloves, mask, and boots

Motivate team members, foster a collaborative work environment, and provide constructive coaching and feedback

Assign clear objectives, monitor progress, and handle multiple priorities effectively

Support the development and performance of team members through leadership and communication
Work Environment:

Majority of work conducted in a cleanroom setting

Required gowning includes scrubs, hairnet, shoe covers, hood, gown, mask, boots, and double gloves
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences preferred

1–3 years of relevant lab or production experience

Basic lab experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR intermediate lab experience in a cGMP clinical production environment with a High School Diploma

Lab experience preferred
