Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: 4910 Savarese Circle, Tampa, FL 33634
Shift: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (2nd shift candidates may also be considered)
Duration: 12+ Months (Potential for extension or full-time conversion)
Pay Rate: $28.02/hr – $46.70/hr (Based on experience)

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves working with a variety of equipment including engines, motors, conveyor systems, and production machinery.

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves working with a variety of equipment including engines, motors, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical devices to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Operate and utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring/testing instruments
- Diagnose problems by observing equipment in operation and listening for irregular sounds
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, engines, and conveyor systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with pneumatic tools and systems
- Willingness to work alternate shifts if needed
