Role: Financial Services Representative – Life New Business
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week, 3 days WFH) at Grandview Yard office (1000 Yard St., Grandview Heights, OH 43212)
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 11:30am - 8:00pm & Friday: 9:30am - 6:00pm
Pay: $19/hr.
Tentative Start Date: 6/30/26, pending completing onboarding paperwork
Position Summary:
As a Financial Services Representative supporting the Life New Business Phone Support team, you will provide prompt and efficient service to policyholders, agents, brokers, and internal business partners. This role requires strong customer service skills, relationship-building abilities, and the capability to interpret policy and contract provisions while handling financial and administrative transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to incoming customer, broker, agent, and government agency inquiries
- Communicate effectively with customers, agency/brokerage partners, service centers, and internal teams through phone and written correspondence
- Assist customers with financial transactions and policy-related requests
- Interpret contract provisions for current and past life insurance products and assumed business
- Maintain knowledge of product provisions, processing systems, and applicable federal and state regulations
- Resolve routine processing errors and identify situations requiring escalation
- Process monetary transactions according to policy provisions and assigned authority limits
- Review, research, and interpret records and reports to make accurate decisions
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to support customer resolution efforts
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
Experience:
- 3 years of work experience preferred
- 2+ years of product-related customer service experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to analyze customer inquiries and determine appropriate resolution
- Knowledge of general office practices and office equipment
- Familiarity with insurance or financial services industry practices preferred
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Computer proficiency, including ability to operate PC systems efficiently
