Location: Fully remote (US)-- PST preferred
Market rate: $70-80/hr (W2)
Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs/wk
Contract: Initial 6-month contract with probable extensions/conversion
Target Start: September

Job Overview:
As a Business Analyst on the Category Team for Mixed Reality Wearables, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and product performance. Your primary focus will be on providing data-driven insights to inform category management decisions, optimize product assortment, and improve overall business performance.
Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Research
Pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act, Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, qualified applicants will be considered for assignment with arrest and conviction records. Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Research
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the MR and Wearables categories
- Analyze competitor activity, market share, and pricing strategies
- Identify emerging technologies and innovations that may impact the categories
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to sales, inventory, and customer behavior
- Create, Develop and maintain reports and visualizations to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders
- Identify areas of opportunity and provide recommendations for improvement
- 6-8 years of experience in business analytics, marketing, or supply chain in an operational capacity; need to have data proficiency
- Consumer electronics background; Enterprise Application experience a plus.
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
