P&C Insurance Sales Agent- June Start
Position Title: Insurance Sales Agent
Location: 100% Remote (Training included)
Pay Rate: $20/hour (No commission during contract period; paid weekly)
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
(Opportunity for extension or full-time conversion based on performance, attendance, and business needs)
Training Schedule Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST (2 weeks) Mandatory attendance – no exceptions
Required Qualifications
Active Commercial Lines Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License in at least 45 U.S. states + resident state
(Preference for all 50 states + Washington, D.C.; Personal Lines license not accepted)
Work Schedule (Post-Training)
- Flexible shifts between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
- One weekend per month (rotational)
- Assigned permanent shift after training
Role Overview
The Insurance Sales Agent will engage directly with pet parents to provide tailored pet insurance solutions in a fast-paced call center environment. This role focuses on handling inbound inquiries, converting leads into policy sales, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and chats to promote and sell pet insurance policies
- Build rapport with customers and educate them on available products
- Manage leads effectively to meet and exceed sales targets
- Provide prompt and professional responses to minimize wait times
- Maintain strong product knowledge and deliver a high-quality customer experience
- Support customer retention through problem-solving and relationship building
Key Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years of sales experience
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or GED
- Sales experience in an inbound or call center environment
- Insurance industry sales experience
- Strong objection-handling and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and internet tools
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to company policies
- Sales and closing techniques
- Time management & multitasking
- Problem-solving and objection handling
