Title: Paid Media Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of extension)
Pay: $66-72/hr
Summary: We are looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to help drive new user growth across multiple paid channels globally, including but not limited to SEM, Paid Social, and Affiliate. As a member of the Growth Marketing Team, you'll partner to manage and optimize campaigns across our core payments business and SaaS products. You will help grow several of our most important direct response channels and inform strategy to execute $XM campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Partner with leads to manage a $XM budget across paid channels to bring in new sellers across all of Square's products and audiences in Global markets
Partner on strategy, execution, and optimization for campaigns across SEM, Paid Social, Affiliate, and other performance channels as needed
Collaborate on quarterly testing roadmaps and tactical plans to ensure internal KPIs are met across channels
Work with internal stakeholders on overall channel performance and align on creative, product, landing page tests, audience strategy, and more
Oversee weekly and monthly reporting of campaign metrics, goals, and other KPIs across multiple paid media programs
Use a process of testing to prove hypotheses and recommend performance optimizations such as improving campaign structure and targeting, audience segmentation, creative testing, partner optimization, landing page testing, and bid or budget management processes
Research and apply industry trends, platform updates, and competitive analysis across performance marketing channels to inform strategy
Build excellent acquisition programs through partnership with Analytics, Data Science, Product, Creative, and partner teams
Skills:

Skills:
- At least 3 years of related performance marketing experience managing paid media campaigns with a $XM budget across one or more channels such as Paid Search, Shopping Performance Max, Paid Social, or Affiliate
- Experience building strategies and identifying opportunities to scale growth and meet or exceed KPI targets
- Experience managing campaigns across major advertising and partner platforms, including strategy, planning, execution, and testing to improve performance marketing metrics
- Familiarity with platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, TikTok, affiliate networks, and campaign management tools is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional partners; written and verbal communication skills that can be tailored accordingly
- A passion for marketing. You continually learn about the industry, platforms, and changes as they roll out
- Relevant platform certifications are a plus
