Job Title: Engineering Systems Specialist
Location: 1910 East Innovation Park Drive, Tucson, AZ 85755
Duration: 6-Month Contract (with potential for extension or permanent hire)
Pay Rate: $38 – $42 per hour (W2)
Benefits: Weekly pay, Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage

The Engineering Systems Specialist will apply a strong understanding of engineering design principles and system integration to develop, test, and enhance complex systems. This role involves participating in all stages of the product lifecycle — from concept and design to validation, troubleshooting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically adept, and capable of contributing innovative ideas to improve system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, and testing of complex systems to meet performance and quality specifications.
- Support design concept generation and take part in design and technical reviews.
- Conduct performance and reliability testing; assess system interactions and propose engineering improvements.
- Assist in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes and troubleshooting system-level issues to identify root causes.
- Monitor work to ensure consistent delivery of quality results and adherence to Quality First Time principles.
- Review technical data, prepare documentation, and present findings within technical teams.
- Support patentable idea development and prototype testing.
- Suggest process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Solid understanding of basic and some specialized engineering techniques.
- Experience with system integration in a lab or production setting.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment preferred (not required).
- Proficient in technical documentation and literature research.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical findings effectively.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline required.
